Our Mission
We will help children know:
Jesus loves them. They can come to Jesus with all their cares and worries, because Jesus loves them. He will always be with them and help them
We will help children feel:
Loved by Jesus, confident that He will listen to them when they pray. Secure in the knowledge that Jesus will always be with them guiding and watching over them.
JAM is a youth ministry for children from Pre-K through 5th grade that meets every Sunday during the 10:30 am service. While the older group typically has discussions and occasional plays, the younger set through 2nd grade participate in activities that include music, Bible stories, games, crafts, movie discussions, and skits. Each theme lasts for about four weeks which allows time for an in-depth study of the particular theme. This year, the children have been studying Parables blended with curriculum dedicated to the church calendar.
JAM also places a premium on teaching the values of service. Last year, JAM sponsored a coat collection project, raised funds for school supplies, wrote letters for soldiers stationed overseas, and made cards and gifts for various church members and their families.
